Summer Drum Circle- June

Join us in the natural surroundings at Pecan Creek Ranch for an evening of playing with some drums, tambourines, shakers, and other rhythm producing instruments. NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY.

This is for all ages and musical abilities. Creating rhythm together is a very effective way to create connection and community. Drum circles have been a part of many cultures for centuries, providing a safe place for self-expression, connection, fun and regulating activity for all involved. You will be guided by others who are experienced in these types of drum circles, so even if you've never touched a drum, you'll be able to fully engage and play. If you can move your body, you can play a beat on a percussion instrument.

For those who just aren’t ready to participate in the drumming, please come sit in the circle with us and enjoy being in nature and community with others. The horses and cows may even decide to hang out with us as we play.

If you have a drum or percussion instrument you would like to bring, please do so. Otherwise, we will provide the instruments. We also have plenty of chairs, but you are free to bring your own.

This is an OUTDOOR event, so come prepared with the right clothing, sunscreen and bug spray as needed.

There is no charge for this event, but a $5 donation is suggested to help us purchase instruments for these drum circles.

*All children must be accompanied by a supervising adult.

*No smoking or vaping allowed on the property.

*We will be outdoors, so dress appropriately. Bring your own water. No alcoholic beverages or glass containers.

*Everyone must sign a liability waiver before entering the property.
